WHY YOU SHOULD BE TRYING GARNIERS ‘PURE ACTIVE’ 3 STEPS TO CLEAR SKIN!

One thing I am forever changing, experimenting with and yet never fully understanding is skin care products. There is soooooo much to consider, whats best for your skin type? Do you want to benefit from hydration, brightening or anti-aging? and if that isn’t enough, the products come in a rage of different consistency’s!

Cosmetics truly is another language.

TIME TO TALK SKIN-CARE

So in order to not only improve my skin but all so start experimenting with all these weird and wonderful products, I took a head first dive in to the skin-care sector of cosmetics!

At the beginning of the summer, I was browsing my way through ASOS looking for a travel skin care set for my summer travels. I knew I wanted a cleanser, exfoliator and moisturiser, it had to be travel size and preferably a company name I that i had already heard of or even possibly used in the past, this is when I came across the Garnier ‘Pure Active’ 3 steps to clear skin.

At first I was kind of skeptical, as I see all these photos online about the extravagant skin care routines full of weird and Wonderfull ingredient, by companies that I’ve either A) never heard of or B) couldn’t even begin to pronounce the names of. BUT we’ve all got to start somewhere and my basic needs was to refresh my face during the summer, something simple, quick and travel size.

Garnier’s ‘Pure Active’ 3 steps to clear skin collection consists of one Micellar Cleansing Water (125ml), a 3in1 Wash, Scrub and Mask (50ml) and lastly a Blemishes and Shine Daily Mattifying Moisturiser (50ml). It is a very simple routine, quick to smash through and to my surprise alway left my skin feeling de-clogged, refreshed and hydrated.

Although I bought the set with the intention that it would be useful for the first couple of weeks over on the flip-side before I got my booty to a Walmart to restock, I actually found that it lasted me the ENTIRE SUMMER! Yes you heard correct! I used the set approximatley three times a week (give or take) over the course of four months and never had to replace any item.

Shocker, I know!

My favourite product is the 3in1 wash, scrub and mask. My standard routine consisted of a pea size dollop on my finger, running it quickly under the hot water, rubbing my fingers together till it produced a paste like form, then working the solution mainly into my T-Zone (Forehead, nose and chin). Due to the product containing Pumice Volcanic Rock not only did my skin feel and look exfoliate but also my pore reduced and de-clogged.

So to sum this little blog post up:

  1. Skin-care doesn’t have to be expensive.
  2. Starting simple and working out what works best for your skin is the best way to start your skin-care cosmetic journey.
  3. The products are simple, effective and surprisingly long lasting.
  4. I’m now a little obsessed with purchasing travel size skin routine sets.
  5. I have begin to learn the new language of skin-care cosmetics (I’m soooo funny…. no I’m not)
